All of our flies are tied to order, so allow appropriate time. There is a relatively quick turn-around, as I know some hatches don't last long. That being said, I don't recommend ordering the week before the big trip, because you might not get them in time.
I tie to order to ensure thread integrity and to make sure hair and feathers have not degraded and color has not faded. Many shops tie in bulk and let their flies sit in bins until they're all sold out, sometimes years at a time. A truly good fly is one that's tied just prior to use. Photos are available for all my flies. Keep this in mind if you have concerns that regional interpretations on fly patterns may vary.
